The bubble glass is an awesome desk-topper and a question-generating educational tool. When the cylinder is flipped, the liquid flows to the bottom leaving bubbles in the top.
Who knew that by just replacing the sand in an hourglass with soapy liquid you could defy the laws of space, time, and physics and make it appear to flow in reverse? But that's exactly what happens with this fun timer. Watch the liquid flow to the bottom leaving the top filled with bubbles. A great gift for children (or children at heart!)
I thought that there would be liquid in the glass. It doesn't last very long.
Not sure what I expected but the hour-glass is half full and when it is turned upside-down it empties into the other chamber in about 6 seconds. Not very exciting, useful or worth the money i paid. I imagine there is a quality control issue here but all the same a waste of time for me as I have to figure out how to return this now.
Not overly satisfied. Small for the price but ok.
This was purchased to replace an hourglass broken by a guest. It's fun to watch. It was smaller than I expected but still great fun. V v happy w/purchase
