$1,699.99
As the Victorian cotton and woolen mills closed throughout the industrial North of England and Scotland over the last 40 years the antique wooden bobbins and shuttles left behind have been transformed into original wooden items.
Each timer has a cotton sticker placed on its base. These stickers were made in New York in 1917 and found in cupboard in an abandoned sewing thread factory in Leek, Derbyshire.
As with all antique and hand-made items, the colors and decorations vary slightly. We consider this to be a special part of their history and character.
Big Bertha is new and has earned her name - standing 65-70 inches tall and 30-35 inches wide you'll need some space for this one. Run time is 1-3 hours and this is a special order hourglass, ready in about 3-4 weeks from time of order. Customer will be contacted via email after purchase to confirm size and preferred timer.
