Like all of our Signature Collection hourglasses this custom hourglass is handcrafted from solid wood made here in the US. The Ichthys symbol lasered on one end symbolizes Jesus Christ. The symbol also connects to biblical events, such as Jesus feeding the 5,000 with five loaves and two fish, his disciples being "fishers of men," and the tradition of water baptism, which is like being "born in the water" like a fish. Available in two sizes and 4 different wood choices.
As with all wood each piece will vary slightly in graining and color making each hourglass unique. Hourglasses are handmade so sizes are approximate.
