Beautiful color

The sand had beautiful color, and low powder which is nice, however the grains are too large and are also very rough and jagged (if you look at them under a microscope (I know, I'm a nerd)) which causes them to lock up and not flow through my Kelvin and Hughes hourglass. Unfortunately, because of that I cannot use the sand.Now I'm using number 12 glass beads for the "sand" with no issues.

It's why we have this in the first line of the description: 'We now have sand available for your kit hourglass purchased from us!' We know the sand flows through our fillable hourglasses but we can't attest to whether it will work for hourglasses purchased elsewhere :-).
