The color is beautiful however, the sand gets stuck and doesn’t finish draining/flowing into the bottom glass piece. I don’t honestly know if it’s the sand or the hourglass timer but they were both purchased from justhourglasses.com. So that is disappointing.

The sand had beautiful color, and low powder which is nice, however the grains are too large and are also very rough and jagged (if you look at them under a microscope (I know, I'm a nerd)) which causes them to lock up and not flow through my Kelvin and Hughes hourglass. Unfortunately, because of that I cannot use the sand.Now I'm using number 12 glass beads for the "sand" with no issues.

I purchased an hourglass from a different website that came with the wrong color of sand, so I got this to refill it. It’s working well and is much finer. I’m curious what exactly the granules are made of — marble? Silica? Thanks!

I bought several bags of various colors of sand, and am very happy with my purchase, the quality of the material, and the promptness of delivery.
Ordered hourglass and colored sand and that's what they sent.
Everything went well. I originally made a mistake and used the incorrect delivery address but I emailed customer support and they were able to change the address and responded very quickly to confirm.

The sand is nice for the hourglasses. I just wish it was more fine so the hourglass timer was more accurate and lasted longer with the ones that you pour your own sand in.
