This custom Signature Collection hourglass is handcrafted from solid cocobolo wood grown in Central America. A beautiful wood, it's denseness makes it very strong and durable and it finishes very smoothly. The color is a variegated yellow-orange, dark red with irregular black stripes. Like all wood cocobolo varies in graining and color - with some hourglasses the black stripes are more prominent, in others the yellow-orange color is more prominent. No two are alike. Combined with glass bulbs hand-blown in England, this classic piece is stunning.
As with all wood each piece will vary slightly in graining and color making each hourglass unique. Hourglasses are handmade so sizes are approximate.

Specifications:
- 6"D x 10"H (size approximate as globes are handblown and frame built around them)
- Available fully assembled (as shown) or disassembled with an empty globe. That option is for customer who want to add their own sand (i.e. during a wedding sand ceremony). Note the center hole is larger than a normal hourglass to accommodate lots of different types of sand so they run fast.
