Absolutely Beautiful

Beautiful but not an urn

I bought this hourglass as an urn for my dog. It’s advertised as an urn but it does not work with ashes alone. I was told I should mix sand or salt with the ashes to make it flow but I’m unwilling to mix her ashes, so I can’t confirm if that would work. I previously purchased a different hourglass to use as an urn and it’s wonderful. Just do your research before buying and use customer service for questions as they were willing to try and help. This hourglass is very beautiful and well made, just the center of the hourglass is too small to sieve ashes (alone).

Yes unfortunately the nature of ashes (how light they are) do no always lend themselves to flowing alone and there's no way to know which ones will or will not. We let customers know under the FAQ page this is often the case and encourage all of our customers to read through our FAQ page before purchasing one of our fillable hourglasses :-).

Very Unique

I just love my Hourglass urn. I had been looking for something very special for a beloved dogs ashes. The rotating heart hourglass did not disappoint. Great quality and very unique. Instructions on how to prepare the ashes were much appreciated and the blue sand ordered along with it, gave our dog a beautiful forever resting place.

Customer service was amazing and the engraving came out excellent. It is very sturdily made and will no doubt stand the test of time. My dad deserves nothing but the best and I can proudly say that he'd be happy with this product.
