Solid Chechen 30 or 60 Minute Hourglass With Metal Spindles

The hourglass I purchased, which included some personalized engraving, was for giving as a retiring gift to a favorite boss. It arrived, promptly, very well packaged, and undamaged (despite a broken outer box). This prompted me to ask why these don't arrive in a box with the company name on it (inside the outer shipping box). I received a reasonably understandable explanation very promptly as to why and so I cannot, nor would I, withhold a star for that. I am very pleased with my purchase of the Chechen 60 Minute Hourglass. It is a beautiful piece and I know as soon a my boss comes back from his hunting trip, so I can give it to him, he will love it too! Highly recommend, but know you must provide your own gifting box. Thanks to Shannon for all her help getting all my details just perfect.

Beautiful product. This was a lasor engraved high school graduation gift for our grandson.

The hourglass was well received from the recipient as well as the team giving it as a retirement gift. Everyone was pleased with the color, the wood engraving and the esthetics of the piece.

To begin, I have only one small complaint: when I got the hourglass it was 30-minutes instead of the 1-hour I ordered. To correct this, they gave me the option to replace the bulb myself or to send in the entire hourglass and have them do it. I let them send me a replacement bulb to replace myself, as I felt comfortable doing so.
Besides the great customer service they used to correct the issue, I find the hourglass great to have. My only regret is not getting the larger sizes. This Chechen wood looks darker in person than on camera.

The craftsmanship is beautiful. Customer service was responsive and sure to confirm exact order. Arrived in a timely manner in perfect condition. Can't wait to give as a gift to my daughter who is becoming a licensed therapist.
