Green Marble Hourglass 60 Minute with Brass or Chrome Spindles

Birthday present for Mother in law, she had one years ago(25+) and her son(my husband) broke it by accident. She was elated when she opened the box and saw what we got her. It proudly sits where everyone can see it! Will highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a beautiful hourglass.

Both hourglasses were beautiful and both timed an hour! I bought one for a gift and one to keep. My new 'timer' is on the mantle; it keeps me on track in my Wii exercising far more elegantly than the digital clock on the tv!

I would love to give this product a 5 star rating. It's that beautiful and functional. My one issue is that on occassion and very rarely at that the flow of sand stops. Sometimes this occurs just over half way through the 60 minutes and at times it doesn't occur until it's nearly run out. I must say that I guess humidity in the ambient atmosphere could be the problem. However I assume that the sand is trapped in a vacuum and perhaps that's not the reason afterall. I purchased it as a gift for my 22 yr. old son and he loves it! I will admit it is a beautiful piece and I'm very happy with it with that one very minor exception.
I would not hesitate to buy another one just like it and I certainly would highly recommend it to friends. The design and workmanship are unparalleled.

Service was fantastic! I was told that it would ship in 2-3 business days and probably arrive within 5 and it arrived right on time well in time for Christmas.
It was very nicely packaged for protection against breakage and definitely arrived intact and brought a smile to my sons face.

When purchased in 2009 it was a gift for a friend. The friend has since passed away and the time piece returned to me. It therefore has a sentimental value to me. But it also works very well (marks one hour to the second). I have been enjoying it at home since the beginning of this year.

Outstanding. I bought it for my wife so she would limit the question time in a philosophical seminar she held for psychiatrists. She never used it for this purpose and supper time on seminar evenings was indefinitely postponed at my home. But ever since then the hourglass has stood on our living-room a beautiful conversation piece and a favorite plaything for my great-granddaughter Amanda who relishes reversing it.

It was actually more cool-looking than I expected and so far no problems regarding durability or things of that nature. It's somewhat more sturdy than I expected which is great. Overall a wonderful beautiful product. I had to shop around a long while but I finally got exactly what I wanted from this hourglass (with regards to both price and product).
