From our Signature Collection, this figured genuine mahogany hourglass is made from one of the most coveted exotic hardwoods in the world. Its deep, red-brown color is accented by delicate strokes of tight grain and with age it takes on a marvelous color depth and quality. Like many exotics, Figured Mahogany wood offers not only a beautiful visual appearance but astounding durability as well. Combined with glass bulbs hand-blown in England, this newest edition to our inventory makes a beautiful statement in any room. 

As with all wood each piece will vary slightly in graining and color making each hourglass unique. Hourglasses are handmade so sizes are approximate.

• Available fully assembled (as shown) or in kit form. Kits are available with two options:

1. You assemble, no sand -  for customers who want to add their own sand (i.e. two different colors). Note: globe provided has a larger hole to accommodate different types of sand so timer accuracy is not ensured.
2. You assemble, sand included - for customers who want a more accurate hourglass.  The natural sand you see pictured comes with your kit.
