Very pleased with the hour glass. I turned a Brazilian Cherry frame for it and I am very happy the way the project turned out.

The hourglass was delivered broken. I sent an email and picture to customer service asking how to send it back for a replacement or refund and have not heard from anyone. Typical bad customer service. Don’t buy.

The look and quality of the hourglass is fantastic. Unfortunately it doesn't go through an entire timer cycle before getting stuck; each time I have to shake it because the sand gets stuck. I'll be returning this product and getting a refund.

Hourglass itself was beautiful and arrived in perfect condition, albeit late despite paying for expedited shipping, but the black marble base was damaged! A replacement was sent, and that too was damaged. There were no broken pieces in the wrapping, so I believe that a damaged base was sent both times. Disappointed as this was supposed to be part of a 50th birthday celebration gift.

Customer service was prompt and responsive! Product was as expected and great quality!

I bought this for its simplicity, appearance and meditation, not the accuracy of the flow. And I really like it. It is perfect for me.

Did a little looking around before buying this and based my decision on the reviews. One thing I was really hoping for was clean sand, not dusty but it's not what I received. The sand hangs up and there is a definite powder residue. I might be a little picky but for the price and size of the piece, I hoped for more. Shipping and transaction were perfect - no complaints there.

It arrived unbroken. The shipping was pretty quick. I bought it for my wife as an office decoration and to help time her counseling sessions. It looks good and works good. We timed it and it is pretty close to an exact hour.

I gave this as a gift to my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it. The glass base is very sturdy so I do not worry about it tipping over. The black sand does not stick to the sides like some of the cheaper hourglasses do. I timed it at 60 min 45 seconds so it is very accurate as well.

Overall a great product. Timely service and delivery. I would only make one recommendation and that would be to add some felt or something to the marble base so it’s not glass sitting on rock.

I had a delivery deadline and the staff was very responsive to my issues. The hour glass is very nice and I added engraved plates to the base (by a different vendor due to time restraints) and they came out really nice. I gave these to our Executive Committee with the plate stating "We appreciate every hour of your time!" - everyone loved them. I also kept one for the Board Room and it is used by every Committee Chair during their meetings.

The hourglass arrived very quickly and I was impressed with the quality. It was a gift and the recipient was pleased indeed. Will probably order one for myself.

I thought the hourglass looked nice, but unfortunately it timed less than 52 minutes. That wasn’t close enough to an hour for my purpose. Note that despite the inaccuracy, I was required to pay the return shipping.

This was a gift for my boyfriend for Christmas. He is always admiring hourglasses when we come across them in stores. I wanted to get him one that would be high quality and durable. That’s why I decided to order from this site. I was worried he would think it was too plain, but he doesn’t. He actually loves it and thinks it is very unique. Very happy with this purchase and will likely order another one!

I'm VERY satisfied with this purchase and this company. The hourglass is is well-made, durable, accurate, beautiful and practical,,, all at a good price. I'm enjoying the gauging of time by watching the movement of sand vs a digital read out. It's changing my relationship with time, for the better. :-) PS - i got the black sand version.

I always wanted an hour glass. I am a teacher and give one hour lessons.
This keeps me honest!!!! Sometimes I am sure the lesson is over and then the
hourglass tells me I still have time. Sometimes I'm shocked when the hourglass
finishes and there is so much more to do! :)

This is a basic yet very well made and attractive sand timer. It feels heavy and solid--I don't worry about it falling over and breaking. Great accuracy for a sand timer--I measured it as taking between 59 and 60 minutes to empty. Fast shipping.
