It's been a week and I still gape at how beautiful it is!

It WAS Beautiful.

This purchase has been in the making for quite awhile now. It has been several months since my daughter Lisa took me to a Dr. appointment which is where she saw & fell in love with "the hour glass." Since her birthday is July 20, I ordered it for her. It came, it was beautiful, I loved it, she loved it. Since she has a cat it could not be left out on a counter so she put it into a display cabinet, unfortunately in doing so it fell & broke. She is sick about it as am I but since I am 91 & on SS I cannot afford another one. I am sure & hope this is not the kind of review you receive often. Thanks!

Elegant and beautiful

The shape and glass on this is very elegant; it's very pretty. I got it as a tool to help my daughter learn about time, and I've found it useful.

Now that I have a four-year-old using it, I wish I'd sprung for the one in the wooden stand. But so far we haven't broken it.

i got this hourglass with glass engraving. staff was very helpful in personalizing my design, and while the glass engraving was expensive, it is certainly worth every penny if you are looking for a sentimental gift. great company, and buying experience. thanks!
