It's gorgeous and just what I wanted, but the sand stops passing through the glass, which makes it pointless to have, for what I wanted, which was to have a non-digital time piece to tell me when an hour has passed.
We are sorry to hear that! Often when sand gets stuck in an hourglass it's because of static electricity build up. If you shake it vigorously, then touch the globe with one hand and a metal object with the other the issue will resolve itself (try it a couple times). When looking for the perfect retirement gift to honor 48 years of visionary guidance and undaunting leadership...... this was perfect. Personalized engraving on the hour glass and the 'gift of time' was very much appreciated. Shannon was efficient and helpful to meet my short timeframe to get it ordered and delivered.
My wife bought an hourglass a few weeks ago, one without a frame, just the glass with sand, of course she broke it within a few days, as I told her she would. So I went on line and found this one. I knew right away she would like it and so ordered it. A little smaller than I thought it would be but she does like it. I'll probably by another, more classical this time, for myself, they're just cool items that add a classical touch to any décor.
It was packaged well, I know this because it looked like it had been used in a Rugby match but survived! I think the "FRAGILE" and "GLASS" stickers on the package must have been seen as a challenge to the carriers workers, but all is well.

We bought nautical metal sand timer because of its looks. Unfortunately, the USPS screwed up the delivery and when it was finally delivered, it was damages. Shannon (customer service) requested pictures of the damaged products and immediately sent out a replacement. It arrived in a few days (it was Christmas) and I was concerned again because the package appeared somewhat damaged. Fortunately the inside package protected the item and it is now proudly being displayed. Thank you Shannon.
It arrived broken. We got the return label and sent it back five days ago. I will be glad to review the entire order when we receive the new hourglass.

This item was n u certain than what I expected. The craftsmanship is very clean and percise. It is an art piece of time in my work iffice.
Item arrive in perfect condition. There was an issue with the engraving but not due to the engraver. The company quickly rectified the issue. Our Pastor was pleased as were we.
