It’s beautiful, sturdy and ours was around 61 minutes, which is amazing for a sand clock! Communication with the seller was great as well when I had a follow up question to my order.
Everything about this hour glass is what I've been looking for. EXCEPT, I'd be willing to pay the extra price for real solid brass. Love the sands of time.

I am so pleased with the hourglass that I ordered. The quality of it is top notch! But what I'm most impressed with is the customer service. I got this for my grandson's twenty first birthday. I wanted to give him something lasting. It is beautiful and the black disc with the engraving is perfect.
It is meant to be an inspiration as he studies for the MCAT. As the sands of time pass through the hourglass, it gives you a better idea of the passage of time rather than setting an awful alarm on your cellphone. Peaceful

I ordered a hourglass which arrived on time in good condition. But the hourglass time was not the 30 minutes as advertised but instead was 53 minutes 40 seconds. I notified customer service who were polite and understanding and they immediately shipped a replacement bulb which gives 30 minutes and 35 seconds. I was very happy with the product and the service and would without reservation order from this company again. Note that hourglasses always have a little sand sticking to the sides and vary within a few seconds due to variations in grain size of the sand. Nevertheless, this product is unusually well manufactured. Despite the initial difficulties, I am giving the highest rating.
Received the large and small timers and will order the medium size as soon as it is back in stock. They are very attractive and well made, will look nice in my new office when it is done!
Lovely color and finish. It was a little larger than I expected (but not actually bigger than the specs provided)... I'm giving it as an engagement gift and know my daughter will love it.
