This custom hourglass is handcrafted from solid fishtail oak grown in Australia. Dark reddish-brown in color with strong broad rays, this material is straight grained with a medium texture. Combined with glass bulbs hand-blown in England, this classic piece adds a striking accent to any room. And because of the limited supply of this wood, once it's gone this hourglass will be retired.

- Offered in 2 sizes - 4"D x 6"H and 6"D x 10"H (size approximate as globes are handblown and frame built around them)
- Available fully assembled (as shown) or in kit form.
- Fully assembled have 5 or 15 minute timers in the 4x6 size, 60 or 50 minutes in the 6x10 size.
- Kits are available with two options: You assemble, no sand - for customers who want to add their own sand (i.e. two different colors). Note: globe provided has a larger hole to accommodate different types of sand so timer accuracy is not ensured.
- You assemble, sand included - for customers who want a more accurate hourglass. The natural sand you see pictured comes with your kit (not available with all options).
