Solid Padauk Hourglass Urn

Handcrafted from solid padauk wood grown in Africa, the color is reddish-brown, often with dark stripes. It is moderately hard and heavy with a medium texture and large pores and a very smooth surface. An elegant and unique wood, its color will deepen as the wood ages. If exposed to prolonged periods of direct sunlight it will turn a beautiful golden brown. Combined with glass bulbs hand-blown in England, this piece is beautiful.
