This custom Signature Collection hourglass is handcrafted from solid white oak grown in the United States. Beige to creamy tan in color, this wood is less commonly used than red oak and finer in texture with the same strength and durability. Combined with glass bulbs hand-blown in England, this classic piece adds a wonderful accent to any room.

Offered in 3 sizes - 4"D x 6"H, 6"D x 10"H or 8"D x 12"H (size approximate as globes are handblown and frame built around them)
Available fully assembled (as shown) or in kit form.
Fully assembled have 5 or 15 minute timers in the 4x6 size, 60 or 50 minutes in the 6x10 size, and 60 minutes in the 8x12 size.
Kits are available with two options:
You assemble, no sand - for customers who want to add their own sand (i.e. two different colors). Note: globe provided has a larger hole to accommodate different types of sand so timer accuracy is not ensured.
You assemble, sand included - for customers who want a more accurate hourglass. The natural sand you see pictured comes with your kit (not available with all options).
Made when ordered, usually arrives within 2 weeks.

Beautiful

This white oak hourglass was a Christmas present to my Mom who has always wanted one, She was so pleased with the Hourglass, it is absolutely beautiful.

sand ceremony

We used this for our sand ceremony for our wedding. It was easy to tape a funnel to the top so we could pour, and easy to assemble. We now have it on our mantle and looks great! So worth it when you want something that will last. Also, customer service was great at communication about my order and things that needed to be fixed. Would recommend them just based off the service you receive.

Tricky advertising

Very nice BUT website very misleading was looking for hourglass to use in sand ceremony for my wedding and the ones showed above were for weddings and this one showed below is not.. Can't be opened. Total waste of $116.00

Used for a sand ceremony

Really loved the product - just had some gliches with getting the sand to filter thru the hourglass tiny middle - finally settled on letting the sand sit in the top of the hour glass.....and shaking it back and forth later to get the sand to the bottom.

Exactly what we were looking for!

My fianc and I were looking for something unique for our wedding ceremony and as soon as we stumbled upon this we knew it was exactly what we were looking for! We got the hourglass in kit form so we could use it for our sand ceremony. It's even more beautiful than the pictures! We can't wait to put it together on that day.

I love sandtimers

Well built. The timer runs for just over 55 minutes (only a few seconds difference top and bottom times). I was disappointed it wasn't closer to 60 minutes.
