I purchased the 1 x 30 Minute Modern Glass Timer in White Sand as a timer to set aside 30 min. "breaks" to shut off e-mail notifications for "head down"/focused work. Looks cute on my desk as well! My Mom saw it and couldn't get over how cute it is.

This looks nice on my desk and is pretty accurate as far as hourglasses go. I timed this 30-minute timer to around 30 minutes and 18 seconds. Works for me!

Beautiful hourglass! Timed it and it's 30 mins, as stated. The sand is pink not red, which I'm happy about (looks darker in photo). The first one arrived broken and customer service was wonderful. Sent some photos and they responded immediately and personally and sent out a new one the next day. Very happy with the company!

The hourglass was top quality, but even better (an unexpected), each glass was boxed in a top quality black box with a silk style cushion inside. The presentation made it look really expensive.

I ordered this hourglass to keep track of time during my Mastermind sessions. It is beautifully designed and very pretty and looks gorgeous on the conference table. I'm very please with it. I loved the packaging and the beautiful black box it came in is the perfect place to store it between sessions. I would recommend this time piece to anyone needing a beautiful way to keep time.

I'm currently a medical student who was in search of a quiet time piece that I could use in the library sans the distraction of electeonics. This hourglass fit the bill perfectly. It is beautifully made, accurate and affordably priced. Shipping was also expeditious. Since there is no pause button, it forces me to sit and focus for the entire length of time.

I looked at a bunch on Amazon but really felt far more comfortable with that this site - that specialized in hourglasses were able to describe. Even the reviews I read were more knowledgeable. You want an accurate timer and this works. Interestingly, I use it now to keep my client meetings on time. It's FAR better to use than a clock or electronic timer. Produces a conversation about time that makes the meetings it work better.
