Quality of the pendant and chain is top-tier. No difficulty filling the pendant (I suggest using a needle if the middle part gets stuck while filling). Love that the cap is deep so there are no worries about accidental openings/spilling (personally, I deal with this problem with piercings and losing the balls). Sometimes I get nervous wearing chains because my hair gets caught in it but with this chain I have no issues with wearing it. Long story, Short...Awesome product.

It is just the right price for a pendant and a newly-made design of high quality material. It is just the perfect size to not be too heavy on a chain and looks to be quite durable (but maybe don't take it with you if you go scuba diving). There should be no worries about the capsule coming apart or unscrewing accidentally while being worn. The top cap threads-in quite deeply to protect your chosen contents.

The piece comes with a really nice letter from JustHourglasses containing superbly simple instructions and yes, a piece of paper is quite useful for making a single-use funnel to add your dust/powder to this capsule. Sifting contents before adding them is definitely recommended to allow materials to travel more easily between the two portions of the hourglass. It depends upon your preference.

We went with LIT glow powder to include with our Father's ashes and it glows even with ambient heat.
