Bronzed Time Turner Urn Rotating Hourglass

I’ve been a fan of HP since the books were first released during my childhood. Of the movie franchise, the third movie has ALWAYS been my favorite adaptation. When my 11yr old best four-legged friend was diagnosed with kidney failure, I knew I wanted to have something special for her resting place. I came across the idea of an hourglass and found this website. After her cremation, my two-legged best friend helped me use a metal tea-ball to sift the finer cremains so there was no clogging in the hourglass. Mixed with a bit of Coney Island sand, where I found my four-legged best friend as a puppy, this piece is both beautiful and functional with the incorporation of real sand. Because this is small, not all of the cremains would fit (and she was a chihuahua/shih tzu mixed breed). It was also super helpful to have more than one set of hands in the transfer process.

My family was looking something different than the average urn. My mother loved reading the Harry Potter book series. She loved all the movies. In her last few years, she would watch the movies when she couldn't sleep. This hourglass reminded us of Hermione's time turner. For ashes, it's the equivalent of a small or mini urn. We don't plan to turn it which is fine but if yoy are planning to use it as an hourglass with ashes in it be prepared for it to not really work. It gets trapped in the center. For us, it is fine. We bought it to look at and think of our mom.
We also got an engraved plate and it's not very big so it doesn't detract from the hourglass.

I received my purchase quickly and in excellent condition. the engraving is exactly what I wanted. If I could suggest, a small funnel included would be wonderful. I tried rolling paper cones, using straws, etc, until i had to improvise a cake decoration tool. I used the piece to hold my fiancee's cremains.

For the amount you pay for this, you would think they could give you a funnel. I stead they give you directions on how to make one. no instructions on ash to sand ration so you do this quite a few times and have to buy more sand because the pittance they send you isn't near enough. end of project looks good.

There should be a little larger passage through the bulbs so it actually works

Extremely emotional is the best way to put it. When I see the cremains of my parents in such a warm beautiful piece of art is what I will call this. Thank you for the artistry you have put into this urn.
