Cherry Hourglass With White or Swirled Natural Sand 60 Minute

I bought this as an anniversary gift with the custom engraving. Very beautiful and unique. My only complaint is the actual part that's engraved is smaller than I thought it would be.

You'll read a lot about this website's customer service representative, Shannon, in these reviews, because she makes the ordering process a pleasure. She is very quick to reply, even when it's your dozenth question, to make sure your order is just right.

The only thing Shannon can't do is save you from Murphy's Law (If anything can go wrong, it will). I ordered an hourglass for my anniversary and had it mailed to my neighbor's house, so my wife wouldn't see it before I got home from work to pick it up and wrap it.

Unfortunately, my neighbor forgot to tell her husband I was mailing the package to their house, so when it arrived he took it next door to my wife, thinking it had been misdelivered, and my wife opened the box. So much for the surprise.

Other than that, it went great.

I had this beautiful hour glass in my Airbnb for several years, to the delight of my guests. Unfortunately it got knocked over and broken recently. I was very glad to find the same model was still available (albeit at a higher price) and I ordered a replacement immediately. Turn-around time was great -- it arrived in time for the next guest!

I inspected the glass and the rubber gasket and glass was broken. Now for the good part- I contacted the company and a replacement glass and gasket was sent and I replaced the broken components. The hour glass is great.
