Heart Vintage Rotating Hourglass Urn

I just love my Hourglass urn. I had been looking for something very special for a beloved dogs ashes. The rotating heart hourglass did not disappoint. Great quality and very unique. Instructions on how to prepare the ashes were much appreciated and the blue sand ordered along with it, gave our dog a beautiful forever resting place.

My urn is amazing. I couldn't have asked for anything better or more beautiful. I had very fast service as well as top quality. Absolutely perfect.

Prior to purchasing I had submitted several questions about this product which were promptly answered by justhourglass.com. I ordered this item and purple sand to mix with my sister's ashes since I was advised that the sifted ashes would be too light to funnel through the hourglass. The item arrived quickly, undamaged and just as ordered. I took it to the funeral home as they had the tools and skills to sift the ashes and mix with the sand. It does not function as a time piece, of course, because even with the sand it does not flow like normal hour glass sand would, but the mix of the sand and ash flow through the hourglass when rotated or tapped. It is a beautiful hourglass.

Shannon was very helpful and courteous. She answered all my questions and ensured that I received my urns for my mother overnight as I requested. The urn is absolutely beautiful. I am very pleased my mother will have such a beautiful final resting place. She made this difficult time much easier. Thank you for everything!

Absolutely Beautiful

I bought this hourglass as an urn for my dog. It’s advertised as an urn but it does not work with ashes alone. I was told I should mix sand or salt with the ashes to make it flow but I’m unwilling to mix her ashes, so I can’t confirm if that would work. I previously purchased a different hourglass to use as an urn and it’s wonderful. Just do your research before buying and use customer service for questions as they were willing to try and help. This hourglass is very beautiful and well made, just the center of the hourglass is too small to sieve ashes (alone).

Customer service was amazing and the engraving came out excellent. It is very sturdily made and will no doubt stand the test of time. My dad deserves nothing but the best and I can proudly say that he'd be happy with this product.

This hourglass is very beautiful displayed and is easy to fill. A suiting fit for my dad. He was a collector of valuables and antiques. I ordered two of them right away. One for my brother and one for myself. I recommend using more sand than is provided if you want it to flow nicely. At least my ashes didn’t seem to want to flow all the way with the sand provided. I had some white sand from clearwater beach, which was a really nice sentiment also!! They epoxy one end of the hourglass for you and it comes with super easy instructions. Simply fill and epoxy (provided) the other cap on and you’re done!! Engraving turned out very nice also. This company worked amazingly with my time schedule and shipping!! They arrived on time and came packaged with extreme care. I would definitely recommend this product if it suites characteristics of the departed or the one remembering them.
