Solid Chechen Hourglass Urn

The size, shape, color is exactly what was expected.

The only challenge is getting the ash mix just right so that it is able to move from top to bottom.

This hourglass was exactly what I wanted to hold my fathers memorial remains.
He actually picked it out before he passed. I ordered it a few weeks later. When it arrived a few weeks after that, the box was unharmed ( thank you delivery drivers), and packaged well. There was a letter inside explaining a little about the person that hand carved it..... this is a nice touch!
Now, I know a lot of people order these hourglasses for the same purpose, but it made us feel special to know that this particular piece was hand carved, by a real human being just for our family.
When you take the “ well packaged”pieces out of the box, you can see the care that was taken.
We put the hourglass together ourselves, because I couldn’t bare to send my fathers ashes away. It went together easily, just have to read/ follow the easy instructions. Over all I am very happy with this purchase, and really can’t say enough good things about this company, and the people that carve/ make the pieces.
