This custom Signature Collection hourglass is handcrafted from solid cherry wood grown in the United States. Reddish brown with a golden luster, this wood becomes darker and richer with age. It is a finely textured wood that is strong and fairly durable. Combined with glass bulbs hand-blown in England, this classic piece adds a striking accent to any room.

Available fully assembled (as shown) or in kit form. Kits are available with two options: You assemble, no sand - for customers who want to add their own sand (i.e. two different colors). Note: globe provided has a larger hole to accommodate different types of sand so timer accuracy is not ensured.

The hourglass is a beautiful high quality timepiece. It came with a note about the man who made it which showcases the American craftsmanship. The sand emptied within 20 seconds of the hour time. A splendid gift!

Product is made nicely thought should be sanded better - woood is rough also would like some type of glaze or varnish on the product. Overall it is a nice hourglass but not nearly worth the $200.00 price tag - $100.00 is a more reasonable price for the product.

Sand in hour glass same color as wood. Very hard to see the flow of sand. A poor oversight.
