This hourglass is made from one of the most coveted exotic hardwoods in the world. Its deep, red-brown color is accented by delicate strokes of tight grain and with age its gorgeous color depth and quality increases. Like many exotics, Figured Mahogany wood offers not only beautiful visual appearance but amazing durability as well. As with all wood each piece will vary slightly in graining and color making each hourglass unique. Hourglasses are handmade so sizes are approximate.
