This custom Signature Collection hourglass is handcrafted from solid bubinga wood grown in Africa. Considered one of the Rosewoods it is a uniquely reddish brown color with evenly spaced stripes, uniform in graining and color, and finely textured. A beautiful, dense hardwood with a lustrous appearance, this wood can best be described as a cross between cherry and mahogany. Combined with glass bulbs hand-blown in England, this is a truly gorgeous piece.
As with all wood each piece will vary slightly in graining and color making each hourglass unique. Hourglasses are handmade so sizes are approximate.

Beautiful and enchanting
I received my assembled hourglass in perfect condition (which I'm not going to lie, I was very skeptical about the transit from the US to AUS), but JustHourGlasses put in a great amount of effort to prevent breakage. The detail in the wood is incredible. It's a lovely piece of art that my sister-in-law will love and keep for a long time to come. Seriously considering buying an hour glass of my own now! Thanks for the great service!
The hourglass is absolutely stunning! Wonderful craftsmanship. Truly a unique piece.
The service was excellent! I needed the product quickly and got it. When they say they will call or email you. ...they do! Delightful to talk to.
The fit and finish was not as fine as I expected but the piece was still beautiful.
